My boy Eddie Murphy is getting a divorce! What? I am Eddie's biggest fan. I hope it has nothing to do with transvestites! ;-)
On a serious note though, I think that the reason why many Hollywood marriages don't survive is because the very foundations that they are built on are dubious in the first place. Some are a PR combination made in heaven, some are financially based, some are to further a career. Many seem to find it difficult to cope with 'media interest' and I think these 'movie stars' seem to think that their marriages should be like the movies. It also seems that it is all too easy for these people to walk away when things no longer suit them.
nml, I understand the transvette thing! Hollyweird is a strange place and almost everyone wants a part of it! In a marriage I thought love reins supreme, maybe I'm wrong. I don't know the ends and outs of Eddie's relationship, but I hope things work out for the best for both parties involved. Hey I know plenty of people that marry for money, power, career too. That's not only Hollywood.
