The human tendency to make situations worse by looking for an easy way out. The quest to avoid confrontation and responsibility ties us all in knots.

That's very interesting, we always take the easy way out, but we can't destroy the other's life in the process.

Hi. Thanks for dropping by in my site. Yours is interesting too. I was checking out your movie and TV reviews earlier. Woo hoo I finally find someone who watches Arrested Development. Let's hope FOX gives the Bluths another season of misbehaving.

As to the topic at hand, I don't think we can judge the runaway bride. It seems like a cowardly act but there's a lot we don't know. Don't you think she was in some desperate situation to pursue such desperate measure?

Darwin, thanks for the luv! Desperate times! she is getting married yes there is stress, but only the stress you create. She could have told the guy before it got over her head.

Hi Grant, Your site's got a nice flash done. I'd love to do something like that when I have the time too. Thanks for leaving a comment at my site. ;)

Anyway, I have a cousin whose husband divorced her after only a few days of marriage. Can't handle the commitment? Maybe, but it definitely hurt her alot. Isn't this worse than having the wedding cancelled or something?

zaeck, thank you for your comment! I am sorry for your cousin, but better to end it quickly than to suffer, divorce is bitter in nature but sometimes necessary. Once you end the pain you can start healing faster. Now she can find a better match for herself. She is stronger for the experience.
